While driving in Chatham Township on October 9, 2010, I experienced what could be best described as a spiritual invitation by Our Lord Jesus to visit the Corpus Christi Catholic Church. As I entered, my eyes were beholding a beautiful and rare display of light shining through the stained glass windows. The exhibition of colorful light can be seen throughout the church. The sunlight is creating beautiful colors on the church floor and on the pews. I photographed a series of colorful images thoughout the church. When you think of Corpus Christi, the first thought that comes to mind is a festival that is celebrated by Catholics and many Christians in honor of the Holy Eucharist. In addition, Corpus Christi means body of Christ in Latin.
Interesting note: The second thought that comes to mind is the state of Texas. However, the Catholic Church is located on 234 Southern Boulevard in Chatham, New Jersey.
Noteworthy, I believe!
